Obituary Notice
Goldfish, Iggy – passed away peacefully at his residence Sunday, July 25, 1999 at the tender age of 4 years.
Iggy was a very special friend and companion to Justin D. and will be greatly missed.
Although Iggy was very small (only a mere 2 inches), he filled his fish bowl with love greater than you can imagine. He was content just to drift around in his home listening quietly and watching the outside world go by. He had no secrets and nothing to hide. He did not ask for much out of life: just to be fed and have his water changed on regular basis.
He feared only two things in life: Mittens the cat and the swirling whirlpool of Mr. Toilet Bowl. We are very proud of Iggy. He was one brave little fish.
Iggy is survived by three sisters: Inez (Will Catfish), Alana (Tom Tuna), and Ignus (Bobby Sole), three brothers: Igbert (Sally Fin), Isaac (Molly Minnow), and Ivan (Susie Sardine), and several hundred nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, Joe Blowfish and Holly Halibut. A memorial service was held for Iggy on Wednesday morning. Friends will gather in honour of Iggy from 2pm-4pm on Wednesday July 28, 1999 in the boardroom of Directors' Choice. At this time, Kevin will give a brief eulogy, as he was one of Iggy and Justin’s personal friends.
